Centurion's HR Team, consisting of Associate Vice President of Human Capital, Laura Salvatore, Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, Alison Mungy, and Generalist of Human Capital, Cassandra Glassen, won the silver award for Best Talent Management Strategy at the 2020 Canadian HR Awards.

Through the team’s innovative Talent Management Strategy known as “Recruit, Develop, Retain”, Centurion has established a robust pipeline from within the organization, identifying top talent for development to fill critical roles in the future.

The team also launched several initiatives aimed at fostering continued career growth for individuals across all levels of the organization, including a continuing education program, formal mentorship opportunities, 360-degree performance evaluations, and a career progression program. As a result of these initiatives, Centurion has seen a significant reduction in turnover along with an increase in employee referrals. When asked, “How likely are you to be working at Centurion in one year?” 91% of employees responded favourably, indicating that this was “highly likely”.

Centurion President and CEO Greg Romundt commented, “Centurion’s HR Team has worked hard to develop and implement a Talent Management Strategy catered to the company’s unique corporate culture. I am very proud of our HR Team and their dedication to recruiting top talent for the company as we continue to expand our footprint across Canada.”
