Centurion Asset Management Inc., the asset manager of Centurion Apartment REIT, is pleased to announce the pending acquisition of a newly constructed, 345-unit multi-residential rental development located at 400-460 Atmosphere Boulevard in the city of Gatineau, Quebec.

“Centurion is excited about its first acquisition in the rapidly-growing Gatineau region. Project Le Central offers its residents a luxurious and modern living environment, convenience and a highly amenitized lifestyle.”, commented Greg Romundt, Centurion President and CEO.

Le Central was built in three phases between 2018 and 2020 and offers tenants an all-inclusive lifestyle focused on luxury and simplicity in the heart of the newly developed Plateau submarket within Gatineau. It is comprised of seven 4-storey institutional-quality buildings totaling 345 suites. The suites offer a mix of modern studios, one-bedroom, one-bedroom with den, one-bedroom with den plus mezzanine, two-bedroom, and two-bedroom plus mezzanine units, all of which feature condo-quality finishes, five appliances, and window blinds in all units. The amenities include in-suite laundry, rooftop terraces, and access to Le Central Private Club, a separate amenity clubhouse offering over 8,000 square feet of space dedicated to a variety of fitness, lifestyle, and business-related uses.

Le Central is well-serviced by public transportation and provides the benefit of a strategic location, only 10-minutes from downtown Ottawa and adjacent to Agora Urban Village, a large mixed-use development offering access to a combination of retail, entertainment, restaurants, grocery stores, and outdoor public greenspace. It is also only steps away from Central Park, a vast 26-acre natural green space with a skatepark, playground, Ottawa senator’s exterior rink, and dog park.
