Centurion Asset Management Inc., the asset manager of Centurion Apartment REIT, is pleased to announce the pending acquisition of The Aurora, a brand-new multi-family apartment located at 230 Aurora Crescent, East Kelowna, British Columbia. The Aurora is currently under construction, with the first of two buildings expected to be completed in September 2022 with the second building anticipated to be completed one month later in October 2022.

The 6-storey mid-rise property offers a total of 104 rental apartment units spread across two buildings with a variety of floorplans – studio, one, two, and three-bedroom suites with balconies for an extended living space. The suites have a contemporary interior design featuring high-end condo-quality finishes such as quartz countertops, hardwood flooring, and high exposed ceilings. Major appliances, including in-suite laundry, come with each suite. Residents can also enjoy best-in-class building amenities, including two outdoor patios, a recreation area, a full-size fitness area, a business centre, a lounge and a pet wash station.

“We’re looking forward to this exciting new addition to our British Columbia portfolio. This new property will represent Centurion’s third acquisition in Kelowna and the 17th acquisition within the province of British Columbia, resulting in a total of 1,772 total rental units located throughout Burnaby, Victoria, Surrey, Langford, and Kelowna,” commented Greg Romundt, Centurion President and CEO.

The Aurora is situated in one of the fastest-growing neighbourhoods in Kelowna, where residents have excellent access to amenities, transportation and schools. The location is a desirable community surrounded by beautiful green spaces, only a short drive to downtown.
